Seeking parent/guardian advocates in the Yarmouth region who wish to create change for their transgender or gender creative child/youth. Calling parent advocates! Are you the proud parent/guardian of a transgender or gender non-conforming child? Would you like to volunteer with other parents to advocate for change in our communities? The Nova Scotia Rainbow Action Project invites you to get involved in forming a new parent advocate group. Supportive parents from different regions of the province will meet by phone or Skype once/month for conversations hosted by Emilie Smith (parent) and/or Seth Wahlin-Stern (NSRAP Health Committee Chair). Parents, guardians, primary caregivers, and loving extended family members (biological or chosen) are welcome to express interest.
