Become a Member of NSRAP

NSRAP depends on its members for a variety of reasons:

  1. We are volunteer-run and members are our greatest volunteer resource.
  2. We are a non-profit but not a charity (otherwise we couldn’t lobby governments!) so membership dues help pay our costs.
  3. We are tied to our community and our members help make us aware of issues we need to address.

Memberships are annual but can be renewed at any time of the year by simply re-completing the form. The form below will allow you to become a member, renew your membership or update your information. Note that those field marked with an asterisk (*) are required fields.

By completing and submitting the form below, you certify that you support the mission and values of NSRAP and are 18 years old.

Please note: As per our bylaws, if you are not a resident of Nova Scotia you will be an associate member and not have voting rights at annual or special general meetings.

To become a member you can fill out the membership form here.

If you are making an online membership donation (either one-time or recurring), use one of the two PayPal buttons below; the first is for a one-time annual donation, the second is for monthly donations. Details for all other payment options is further below.

Please note, NSRAP does not issue tax receipts because we are not a registered charity. While we are a not-for-profit organization, the nature of our work (advocacy) means we are not eligible to register as a charity under current Canada Revenue Agency legislation.
